Marc Raboy is an author and Emeritus Professor in the Department of Art History and Communication Studies at McGill University. A former journalist in a wide variety of media, he has also taught at Concordia, Montreal and Laval universities. He is the author or editor of more than twenty books as well as numerous articles and book chapters on politics, media, and communication, and reports for such organizations as UNESCO, the World Bank, the Japan Broadcasting Corporation, the European Broadcasting Union, and various Quebec and Canadian government agencies. He has been a visiting scholar at Stockholm University, the University of Oxford, New York University, and the London School of Economics and Political Science and has lectured all over the world. His two most recent books are biographies. He lives in Montreal and Abercorn, Quebec.
